本来紙を平滑にするために細かくする繊維を、あえて粗いままに残し、その粗い繊維が玉になる性質を活かしたテクスチャーを模索。

The fibers are normally finely divided to make the paper smooth, but by intentionally leaving them coarse, we sought to create a unique texture that takes advantage of the ability of these coarse fibers to form into balls.

INSTANT MATERIAL

耐久性、施工性、経済性、安全性など、様々な条件をクリアしなければならない仕上げ建材。それらの条件を一旦横に置き、「間に合わせ(=インスタント)」をキーワードに、新しい仕上げ表現を探求する試み。

Finishing building materials must meet various conditions, such as durability, ease of construction, economy, safety, etc. Setting these conditions aside for the moment, this project explores new finishing expressions with the keyword "make do (=instant)."
